Sunrise Over The Falls

Went to falls park saturday (10-26-13) before sunrise to capture a few images. I decided to do them in HDR to capture the range of light and color. While processing them I started pushing them more and  more, Saturating and bringing out more detail and color, I couldn't stop, the final images turned out pretty good, at first I thought they were to saturated but the more I looked at them the more I realized its what they needed.

Falls Park is a local city park, its is the namesake of the city where I live, Sioux Falls SD. The falls are on the Big Sioux River of South Dakota, which runs from northeastern South Dakota and  meets up with the Missouri River at the Iowa, South Dakota border near North Sioux City SD and Sioux City Iowa.

Good Earth State Park. (Blood Run) 8-3-13

Spent some time at Good Earth state park to night. Nice park, I enjoyed the walk and took a few images while there also.

Shrooms and leaves

Foggy morning today but burned off pretty quick. Most of the shots taken early with the fog I didn't like, but it was good for the detail shots.

A very large stump about 6 ft tall. slowly returning to nature.
